This limited edition original linoprint was inspired by British wildlife and features one of our most recognisable animals, the Red Fox (Vulpes Vulpes).
 
I've been lucky enough to spot foxes in the field opposite my studio a couple of times, and wanted to capture the magic of that flash of rusty orange, before they rush off into the undergrowth. This fox looks off to the left, watching the landscape with interest, its bushy tail tucked behind.
 
This piece took lots of careful carving and test printing to create the form and translate tiny marks in the lino into the fox's fur and distinctive white throat and chest.
