A linoprint of a red deer in brown ink mounted in a light oak frame

Red Deer linoprint

This limited edition original linoprint was inspired by British wildlife and features our largest deer species, the Red Deer (Cervus Elaphus).

There's always little magic in catching a glimpse of deer in the wild - something about their regal and imposing stature makes it feel like an encounter with one of the old gods.

I hoped to capture that spirit with this print of a male deer, it's antlers towering over an intent, watchful gaze. The textures of its coat were created through careful line making, carving in different directions and length to define form and shape.

Limited edition of ten prints on recycled, acid-free cartrige paper.  The print itself is A4 297 x 210 mm (11.7 x 8.3 in) ), and 420 x 297 mm (16.5 x 11.7 in) with mount.

You can buy this item as a standalone print, add a mount to slot into any A3 frame, or add a solid oak frame so it's ready to hang straight onto your wall.
