This limited edition original reduction linoprint features a bumble bee taking a morning flight through the daisies, backed by a bright spring sky.
 
One of my favourite things to do in the Spring and Summer is take a walk through the garden with the first cup of tea of the day, checking in on what's grown (and usually mourning whatever the slugs have eaten overnight...). The buzz of bumblebees passing by is always a pleasant sound, and I wanted this print to capture the joy of those little sightings.
 
This is an eight layer reduction print, where each colour is printed on top of the last to gradually build up tone and form, and the lino block gradually carved away. Once finished, the lino block can no longer be used, resulting in a limited edition print that can't be recreated again.
